Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
SolveBeat ("we", "us") provides a website security scanning service at solvbeat.co.uk and solvbeat.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under UK GDPR.
What we collect
- Your email address — when you request a login code, create an account, or download a report.
- Domains you scan — the website addresses you submit, and the scan results (security findings) associated with them, if you're logged in.
- Marketing consent — whether you opted in to receive product updates, recorded as yes/no against your account.
- Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- Basic technical logs — IP address and request logs, kept for security and abuse prevention.
Why we collect it
- To send you the 6-digit login code that authenticates your account (this is how our passwordless login works).
- To generate and store your security scan reports, so you can access your history on your dashboard.
- To process subscription payments, via Stripe.
- To send you product updates or security tips, but only if you explicitly opted in — we never add you to marketing lists without consent.
Who we share it with
We use the following processors, all of whom are contractually required to protect your data:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosts our servers and database, in the EU (Ireland) region.
- Amazon SES — sends our transactional emails (login codes).
- Stripe — processes payments for paid plans.
We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and scan history for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal/tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email support@solvbeat.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to keep you logged in between visits — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Children
SolveBeat is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date above if this policy changes materially.
